On 21 May 2022, Jordan's Social Security Corporation announced an increase in the social security contribution basis cap for 2022 to monthly salary of JOD 3,394, which is up from monthly salary of JOD 3,349 for 2021. The monthly basis cap applies for both employer and employee contributions, which amount to 14.5% and 7.5%, respectively.
