Overview

The Orbitax Drive provides secure cloud storage for all your tax related documentation. By adding the premium features, you will be able to enhance your company’s Orbitax Drive with a range of collaboration and data collection features.

The premium features allow you to upload a file such as PDF (fillable or non-fillable) or Excel and convert into a questionnaire format which can be completed by mapping data already saved inside Orbitax or via a data survey that is filled out by assigned stakeholders.

In addition to populating missing data, uploading Microsoft Office documents and PDF files to the Orbitax Drive enables other features including capturing all review comments, cloud storage, automated document translation between all languages (while maintaining the formatting of the original document), and pushing the filled-out data from the documents into multiple other formats including third-party solutions (via API connections).

Features

PDF Management

Upload any PDF (fillable, non-fillable and scanned) to your Orbitax Drive and take advantage of the following features:

  • Translation into one of 80 languages
  • Convert non-fillable PDFs into fillable PDF forms
  • Map the data and values from your PDFs into fields that can be used across your Orbitax solutions
  • Convert your PDF files into questionnaires that can be distributed to stakeholders for completion

Excel Editor

The Excel editor allows you to collaboratively work on your Excel spreadsheets with your colleagues directly inside the Orbitax Drive, or can be used to distribute as a questionnaire for respondents to complete independently. All changes and new values are tracked and displayed in the Activity Tracker. You can also create a Workbook Set by connecting multiple single workbooks into one single file, which even allows complex calculations between workbooks using Excel formulas.

Create & Send Questionnaires

Create and send questionnaires either by adding your own questions/fields or selecting existing fields from the Orbitax International Tax Platform (ITP), or by converting the fields in a PDF or Excel file using the handy questionnaire conversion tool. Questionnaires can be populated from data already saved in the ITP databases or distributed to stakeholders and responses can be reviewed using the intuitive review screen, with color coding and highlighting to show updates/changes.

Document Translation

Use the Translation feature on your documents, which provides powerful built-in translation for any document (electronic or scanned) into one of 80 languages, as well as currency conversion and a comparison feature for translated documents.

Supercharge with E.A.T.

The Orbitax Drive can be supercharged with the Orbitax Executable Actions Tool (E.A.T.) which allows you to create, share and execute custom business processes based on conditional steps and actions. The workflow, once set up, can be automatically maintained and distributed to stakeholders at pre-set frequencies.

A typical E.A.T. workflow set up to engage with the Orbitax Drive solution can complete the following tasks:

  • Selecting a file (e.g., a questionnaire that was created from a previously uploaded Excel or PDF file);
  • Populating the file with ITP data based on pre-defined tax rules, such as all entities or entities that qualify as US CFCs;
  • Routing the filled-out questionnaire among different stakeholders (based on a pre-defined filter such as by jurisdiction) for review and filling out missing data fields;
  • Combining the individual responses and bringing in the final reviewer to complete a final review of the stakeholder submissions;
  • Recompiling the questionnaire into the original source file (Excel/PDF);
  • Generating other reports including Microsoft Power BI analytics reports by combining with other data within the Orbitax ITP databases;
  • Pushing the data to third-party solution via already established API connections.

Contacts & Chat

Import your list of contacts into Orbitax, assign roles and permissions, and chat with individuals or create custom groups to discuss data population, filing obligations and anything in between.

Video Meetings

Use the built-in Orbitax Meet feature to start or schedule a video meeting with members from your Orbitax Contacts list. Arrange meetings, share your screen and save meeting recordings to the Orbitax Drive.

Document Repository

Secure document storage and management for all your tax documentation, files and meeting notes. Boost your file storage premium features available with the Orbitax Drive.

Task Manager

Assign tasks and timelines to various stakeholders, including checklists, attachments, comments, custom alerts and more. Monitor and manage all tasks from the powerful Task Manager dashboard.

Activity Tracker

Automatically monitors and displays all activity across your Orbitax projects, including when users log in, change/upload data, along with timestamps and ability to generate comprehesive audit reports.
