The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has announced the publication of an updated version of Practice Statement Law Administration (PS LA) 2015/4 on Advance Pricing Arrangements. This includes that the instructions to staff on APAs have been revised to clarify the process, enhance governance at decision-making points, revise out-of-date references, make general improvements to readability, and improve the taxpayer experience overall.
