According to a release from Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue, officials from Afghanistan and Pakistan concluded negotiations with the initialing of a draft income tax treaty on 3 February 2023. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
