Officials from Albania and Greece met on 21 March 2022 to discuss bilateral relations and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, including Albania's desire to conclude negotiations for a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
