Albania and Vietnam to Accelerate Tax Treaty Negotiations

According to recent reports, officials from Albania and Vietnam met on 22 October 2019 to discuss investment and economic cooperation, including the acceleration of negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
