Amending Protocol to Tax Treaty between Austria and Mexico to be Negotiated

On 2 September 2020, the Austrian Council of Ministers authorized the negotiation of an amending protocol to the 2004 income and capital tax treaty with Mexico to bring it in line with minimum BEPS standards. Any resulting protocol would be the second to amend the treaty and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
