Switzerland and the United Kingdom have exchanged letters to amend the Switzerland - United Kingdom Income Tax Treaty (1977), as amended by the 1981, 1993, 2007 and 2009 protocols. The exchange of letters were signed by Switzerland on 3 May 2012 and on 6 May 2012 by the United Kingdom, with the aim to amend the exchange of information provision..
