Amendment to Capital Investment Encouragement Law approved by parliament

On 5 November 2012, the Parliamentary Finance Committee approved Amendment 69 to the Capital Investment Encouragement Law of 1959. According to the amendment, a reduced corporate income tax rate ranging between 6% and 17.5% would be applicable if the profits are distributed. The beneficiary tax rate is granted provided that up to 50% of the profits are re-invested in Israel in:

-   industrial activities;
