On 1 September 2009, the parliament adopted various amendments to the Profit Tax Ordinance. After publication in the Official Gazette, the amendments will apply with retroactive effect from 1 January 2009. During the financial year 2010, qualifying companies can still benefit from the previous regime. The most important developments are described below.
