On 20 June 2012, the amendments to the Income Tax Act were approved by the National Council.
The special rules on CO2 tax for the tax year 2012 are abolished with effect from 30 June 2012.
For the year 2011, the CO2 tax return shall still be filled in and the tax shall be paid until 30 June 2012 at the latest.
To become a law, the amendments must be signed by the president.
