According to a release from the Andorran government, officials from Andorra and Israel met on 11 November 2021 to discuss various issues, including that talks will soon begin for the negotiation of an income tax treaty. The two sides had agreed to negotiations in 2019 but did progress. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
