Angola reportedly published Ratification Letter No. 4/20 in the 27 March 2020 edition of the Official Gazette, which provides for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with the United Arab Emirates. The treaty, signed 8 February 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year in which it was signed (i.e., 1 January 2018).
