According to a release from the Czech government, Czech President Petr Pavel and Angolan President João Lourenço met on 21 February 2024 and signed memorandum of cooperation that will be the basis for an income tax treaty and other agreements. Any treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
