On 18 October 2024, Argentina published Law 27770 in the Official Gazette, which provides for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Canada. The agreement, signed 13 August 2021, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the fourth month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
