On 31 July 2014, Argentina ratified the pending social security agreement with Belgium. Belgium ratified the agreement on 19 December 2010. The agreement was signed 3 March 2010, and is the first of its kind between the two countries.
The agreement will enter into force on the first day of the third month following the exchange of the ratification instruments.
