According to a release from Bulgaria's Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, officials from Argentina and Bulgaria met for a working meeting on 16 August 2022, which included discussions on the possibility of starting negotiations for the conclusion of a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
