According to a release from the Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Worship, officials from Argentina and Tunisia met on 11 June 2024 and pledged to enhance bilateral cooperation including through the negotiation of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
