On 29 January 2019, the Central Bank of Armenia decided to lower its key refinancing interest rate from 6% to 5.75%. For tax purposes, the Central Bank rate is used in relation to the limitation on the deduction of interest paid to entities other than banks and financial institutions, which is limited to twice the Central Bank rate.
