On 14 October 2019, Armenia's Ministry of Economic Affairs reportedly announced that it is automatically providing the three-year VAT deferral incentive on the import of equipment used in the production of goods not produced in Armenia. Previously, taxpayers were required to specifically apply for the incentive. The list of goods for which the incentive automatically applies is to be issued by the Ministry in the near future.
