Armenia's Ministry of Finance has announced that officials from Armenia and Japan met from 26 to 27 February 2024 for preliminary discussions on a draft income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
