A notice from the Australian Treasury has been published announcing the entry into effect of Article 26 (Assistance in Recovery) of the 2006 Australia-France tax treaty on 1 April 2018. The treaty itself entered into force in 2009, although the provisions of Article 26 required a separate exchange of notes including an agreed upon effective date for the Article's provisions.
