The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has announced a draft compliance guideline on the ATO's approach to the arm’s length debt test. Once finalized, the guideline will have effect from 1 July 2019 and will apply where the arm's length debt test has been used to establish an entity's maximum allowable debt from this date.
