According to a joint communiqué published by Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs, officials from Australia and Singapore met on 29 March 2019 to discuss several different issues, including a comprehensive review of the 1969 income tax treaty between the two countries, which has been agreed to under a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership roadmap. Details of any further developments resulting from the review will be published once available.
