On 8 July 2014, Austria approved the pending tax information exchange agreement with Guernsey. The agreement was signed 14 May 2014, and is the first of its kind between the two countries.
The agreement will enter into force 30 days after the ratification instruments are exchanged, and will apply to any fiscal year beginning after 31 December of the year it enters into force.
