The Austrian government is reportedly planning a temporary VAT rate cut for the restaurant and culture sector, which has been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes that the VAT rate for these sectors would be reduced to 5% until the end of 2020. The plan is to be finalized in the coming days.
