Austria's Federal Council (upper house of parliament - Bundesrat) approved the Budget Restructuring Measures Bill 2025 ( Budgetsanierungsmaßnahmengesetz 2025) on 13 March 2025. The Bill was approved by the National Council (lower house of parliament) on 7 March 2025. It must now be published in the Official Gazette and will generally apply from 1 April 2025.
