The Azerbaijan State Tax Service has confirmed that negotiations are ongoing for concluding tax treaties with India, Japan, Portugal, and the Slovak Republic. The conclusion of tax treaties with these countries was noted in a release on new projects in the field of international taxation. The treaties will all be the first of their kind between Azerbaijan and the respective countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
