According to recent reports, the Azerbaijan parliament is considering proposed Tax Code amendments that would provide a corporate and individual income tax exemption on income derived from both print and broadcast media, although journalists would be excluded. A VAT exemption would also be provided, subject to certain conditions. If approved, the exemptions would apply retroactively from 1 January 2023. Further details will be published once available.
