On 4 May 2024, Azerbaijan published the law for the ratification of the new income tax treaty with Turkey. The treaty, signed 19 February 2024, will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1994 tax treaty between the two countries.
