Azerbaijan and Hong Kong Complete First Round of Tax Treaty Negotiations

According to an update from the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department, officials from Azerbaijan and Hong Kong completed the first round of negotiations for an income tax treaty on 13 July 2023. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
