According to recent reports, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed a law on 11 October 2022 to ratify an agreement with the OECD to join the Inclusive Framework on BEPS, which currently includes 141 members. As a member of the Framework, Azerbaijan will be committed to the implementation of the minimum BEPS standards and is expected to join the statement agreeing to the two-pillar solution to address the tax challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy.
