Bangladesh Approves Signing of Tax Treaty with the Czech Republic

On 26 August 2019, the Bangladesh Cabinet approved the signing of the draft income tax treaty with the Czech Republic. Negotiations for the treaty were concluded with the initialing of the treaty on 26 July 2018. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
