On 29 November 2023, the Bangladesh National Board of Revenue (NBR) issued a letter on the extension of the deadline for the filing of income tax returns by individuals and companies for the 2023-2024 assessment year (2022-2023 income year ended 30 June 2023). For individual annual returns, the deadline has been extended from 30 November 2023 to 31 January 2024. For company annual returns, the deadline has been extended from 15 January 2024 to 28 February 2024.
