The Bangladesh National Board of Revenue has announced an extension for the filing of the individual income tax return for the 2020-21 assessment year (2019-2020 income year) due to the COVID-19 situation. Previously due 30 November 2020, taxpayers now have until 31 December 2020 to file their returns, without incurring interest or penalties.
