The Bangladesh government has reportedly introduced certain tax relief measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Measures include an exemption from import taxes on medical and protective equipment until 30 June 2020 and a reduction in the withholding tax rate on export cash subsidy from 10% to 5%.
