Belarus Accedes to Amending Protocol to CIS Mutual Assistance Agreement

According to recent reports, Belarus acceded to the amending protocol to the CIS Mutual Assistance Agreement on 2 October 2020. The protocol includes amendments regarding the electronic exchange of information for tax purposes and was signed on 2 November 2018 by Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Other CIS member states that have not yet acceded to the protocol include Moldova, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine.
