The Belarus Ministry of Taxes and Duties issued a notice on 15 January 2025 confirming Germany's suspension of the 2005 tax treaty between the two countries effective 1 January 2025. Germany fully suspended the treaty from 1 January 2025 following the partial suspension of the treaty by Belarus with effect from 1 June 2024.
