According to recent reports, the Belarusian Council of Ministers submitted a draft law on 10 May 2023 to the House of Representatives (lower house of parliament) for the termination of the 1993 income and capital tax treaty with Ukraine. The treaty has already been terminated in practice with effect from 1 January 2023, but the legislative procedure for its formal termination in Belarus is still required.
