On 15 June 2023, the Belarus House of Representatives (lower house of parliament) approved the draft law for the termination of the 1993 income and capital tax treaty with Ukraine. The treaty has already been terminated in practice with effect from 1 January 2023, but the legislative procedure for its formal termination in Belarus is still required.
