According to a release from the Belarusian Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, officials from Belarus and Lithuania met 20 to 21 March 2019 for the third round of negotiations for a new social security agreement. The agreement must be signed and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1999 agreement between the two countries.
