On 20 October 2023, the Belgian Cabinet approved the ratification of the pending protocol to the 2006 social security agreement with Quebec, Canada. The protocol, signed 19 Aprile 2023, is the first to amend the agreement and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
