Belgium has published in the Official Gazette the Law transposing Council Directive (EU) 2018/822 of 25 May 2018 (DAC6) on the exchange of reportable cross-border arrangements, which was adopted by parliament on 12 December 2019 ({News-2019-12-18/A/4-previous coverage}). The law enters into force on 1 July 2020, although reportable arrangements where the first step for implementation was taken between 25 June 2018 and 1 July 2020 must also be disclosed, with a deadline of 31 August 2020.
