Belgium's Federal Public Service (SPF) Finance issued a release on 27 July announcing the extension of the Customs and VAT Exemption Period on the import of Goods to Combat COVID-19 as per the European Commission of 23 July 2020. As such, Note EOS/DD 015.815 of 3 April 2020, which initially introduced the exemption in Belgium, will remain fully applicable until 31 October 2020.
