Belgium and Iran Expresses Interest in Negotiating Income Tax Treaty

On September 24, Belgian and Iranian officials discussed the possibility of an income tax treaty between their countries, according to a release published by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This would be the first tax treaty between the two countries. It must be negotiated, signed, and ratified by both contracting parties before entering into force.
