Bhutan's Ministry of Finance has published a notification dated 29 June 2020 on further relief measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes a further extension for the payment of business income tax (BIT) and corporate income tax (CIT) for the 2019 income year to 31 December 2020 for the tourism and allied sectors (hotels, airlines, and tour operators). For other sectors, tax payments are to be completed by September 2020.
