Bill to implement various EU Directives submitted to Luxembourg parliament

On 16 March 2007, the Luxembourg government submitted a bill on (i) the implementation of the 2005 amendments to the Merger Directive 90/434/EEC (Directive), (ii) the extension of the Directive and the Parent Subsidiary Directive 2003/123/EC to a qualifying entity established in a state of the European Economic Area, and (iii) the implementation of the Directive on the accession of Bulgaria and Romania (Directive 2006/98/EC).
