On 29 November 2013, the amendments to the Tax Procedure Code were approved by the National Council and on 13 December 2013 signed by the president.
The main changes will become effective as from 1 September 2014 and include the implementation of binding rulings. A taxpayer will have the possibility to apply to the Financial Directorate to obtain binding rulings. The applications will be subject to a special fee ranging from EUR 4,000 to EUR 30,000.
