Bolivia has published Supreme Decree no. 4711, which increases the national minimum wage to BOB 2,250 per month (up from BOB 2,164), and also establishes required salary increases in certain sectors. The national minimum wage is important for personal income tax purposes given that individuals are allowed a monthly deduction equal to four times the minimum wage. The changes apply retroactively from 1 January 2022.
