According to a release from Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Russia met on 21 September 2018 to discuss bilateral relations, including the ongoing negotiations for an income tax treaty and a social security agreement, which are near completion. The tax treaty and social security agreement will be the first of their kind between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
